Daniel and Levi took on the Men's Health Survival of the Fittest Course for Nottinghamshire Hospice

On the 8th of October Daniel Wong and Levis Ross took on this challenge to raise funds for Nottinghamshire Hospice. Between them they raised £430 through donations and a fundraising dress down day at Domestic and General where they both work.

In the words of the organisers, the Men's Health - Survival of the Fittest course "will take you from the Start Line in the hustle and bustle of the event village onto an unforgiving 10km course interspersed with obstacles every kilometre. You may negotiate urban and rural landscapes throughout your travels on the course, armed for unexpected twists and turns at every corner".

Daniel said after the event: "Levi and myself took just over 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete the 10k run. As we run on a regular basis, the running aspect of the race went well. As it was the 'Survival of the Fittest' there were a few obstacles that made it more challenging. One obstacle was to swim across a stream at the holme pierrepont after going down a water slide. We both found this challenging as it was raining and the water was very cold. At the end of the race, we have to climb a wall and after all of the previous obstacles and running for over an hour, we were both very tired!"
