STRICTLY Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke will appear at a fund-raising dinner organised by Notts Hospice.

THE Victoria Centre in Nottingham is to donate thousands of pounds to seven local charities. The money will go to Ican, which helps children with speech and language difficulties, the Notts Hospice, Age Concern Nottingham and Notts, Rainbows Children's Hospice, Victim Support Notts and Radcliffe-on-Trent Neighbourhood Watch.

A team from Nottingham firm Siemens took part in an Impact leadership programme, part of which included the funding, design and building of a garden shelter in the grounds of Nottinghamshire Hospice.

A GOLF day in aid of Nottinghamshire Hospice raised £500. It took place at Ruddington Grange and was for staff at East Midlands bathroom specialist Willbond.

The 30 Minute Workout for Women are just one of the teams signed up for the Midnight Memory Walk, which gives people the opportunity to raise money in memory of those they have loved and lost.
