Nottinghamshire Hospice is to open its 10th shop in Radcliffe-on-Trent on Thursday 29th July at 10am. Councillor Katherine Cutts will be there to officially open the shop.

Nottingham dance group the Dance Divaz are gearing up for Nottinghamshire Hospice’s Moonlight Memory Walk on Saturday 17th July.

Ex-Eastender and star of Strictly Come Dancing, Ricky Groves, has been confirmed as the special guest for Nottinghamshire Hospice's Moonlight Memory Walk on Saturday 17th July 2010. Ricky will be launching our balloon release which marks the start of the event and will be leading the walk on the night.

Capital grants to UK hospices promised in the last few months of Labour’s administration have been reconfirmed as part of the coalition government’s review of spending commitments made by the previous government since January 2010. The news followed the announcement this week by the chief secretary to the Treasury, Danny Alexander MP, about projects that the Treasury has cancelled or suspended.

Nottinghamshire Hospice has been awarded a £924,116 grant by the Department of Health - more than any other hospice in the country.
