Leave a legacy of care, comfort and compassion by having your Will written or updated during Make Your Will Month.
Recently experienced a significant life change such as moving house, getting married or welcoming a new addition to the family?
Chances are you haven’t yet got round to updating your Will. To make it easier for you we hold a bi-annual Make Your Will month where a local solicitor writes you a basic Will or updates your existing Will and waives their fee so you can make a donation to the hospice. You may even choose to make a further gift in your Will to Nottinghamshire Hospice.
Why write or update a Will during Make Your Will Month?
Your will is one of the most important documents you will ever sign and it ensures your estate and possessions can be distributed as you wish. It will also ensure peace of mind and security, not just to you but to those you love, as well as supporting your local Hospice.
All of the money donated by you for the drafting of the Will is given directly to Nottinghamshire Hospice by your chosen solicitor to help us to provide care and support to local people, their families and carers.
The amount you choose to donate is a personal choice. The solicitors involved are giving up their own time and are keen to help the hospice increase the amount of care given to patients and their families. In order to do this they would like you to give a donation equal to their normal charges for making a Will. The amount suggested is £75 – £150; this is however only a suggested donation and all donations should be freely given.
If your needs are more complex, the solicitor will be happy to agree a fee between you both.
Your legacy is a precious gift…
Once you’ve taken care of your family and friends, would you consider leaving a legacy in your Will to Nottinghamshire Hospice, leaving the gift of care, comfort and compassion in someone’s final days?
