RBS Wollaton fundraising extravaganza raises over £515
When RBS Wollaton heard about the palliative care services we offer to patients at the end of their lives, they were keen to raise some money to support them. The team held a fantastic fundraising event in branch, which was supported by customers and local businesses alike, and included baking and selling cakes, sweets in a jar and a raffle with a signed Lionel Messi football shirt on offer. A huge thanks to Katie and the team for all their hard work in decorating the branch and baking the cakes and to all the customers and local businesses who bought raffle tickets and treated themselves to a yummy cake or two! Special thanks also to Wollaton businesses Birds and Richard Barks who supported the team with the day with donations and supplies.
The event raised £515.47 for the hospice, which will provide 37 hours of Hospice at Home nursing support in the home of someone who could be in the last weeks of their life, as well as support, advice and respite for their families and carers.
