Why do we rely on your donations?

It costs approximately £2.6 million each year to run the hospice with just over 30% of our costs being covered by the NHS Primary Care Trust. The balance, almost £1.9 million, we have to raise ourselves from bequests and donations, trusts, fundraising events, our network of charity shops and the weekly Hospice lottery.

All services are free and offered regardless of age, gender, ethnic origin or religion. Each year we care for over 7,000 people with a life limiting illness and their families through our Daycare facility and deliver 36,000 hours of care through our Hospice at Home service. Cash or cheque donations: Send in cash or cheque payments (Cheques made payable to: 'Nottinghamshire Hospice Ltd.' please and posted to: Fundraising Team, Nottinghamshire Hospice, 384 Woodborough Road, Nottingham, NG3 4JF) or pop in and drop off cash donations at: Nottinghamshire Hospice, 384 Woodborough Road, Nottingham which is in the Mapperley area of the City.

Giving by Standing Order: To set up a Standing Order, you must be the account holder of a personal bank or building society account. Contact your bank and provide them with our bank details i.e. Barclays Bank Account number: 20885134, Sort code:20-63-25.

Gift in Memory: A Gift in Memory is a special and personal donation that you can make to Nottinghamshire Hospice. Please contact Fundraising on 0115 910 1008 for more information about giving a 'Gift in Memory'.

Legacy Donations: The Legacies section of our website provide more information about leaving money to Nottinghamshire Hospice in your will.

Via Ebay Sales: As you’re filling out the details of the item you want to sell, look out for the charity box just below where you set your price. Select your charity as Nottinghamshire Hospice and the percentage (10%-100%) of your final selling price that you'd like to donate. Then, a week after your item sells, MissionFish (eBay's charity partner) will automatically collect the donation from you and deposit it into the Hospice's account - simple!

Whilst you're surfing the net: www.everyclick.com is an internet search engine with a big difference - it donates half its revenues to charity! If you use everyclick.com as your search engine every search you do, you can raise money for Nottinghamshire Hospice.
