It is estimated that over two thirds of the UK population have not made their Will. Even if you have, it may have been some years ago and your circumstances could have changed and you may need to update it.
It is so important that all of us make a Will so that we can make sure that our wishes are carried out after our deaths. Having a Will not only means that you can choose who gets what, but avoids the problems that can arise by not having one. A Will provides you with the ideal opportunity to put vital arrangements in place for the care of your loved ones, should you not be in a position to do that for yourself.
Whilst making a Will, it is always worth considering a ‘Power of Attorney’ arrangement. This means that, in the unlikely event of you having a serious accident, or illness that prevents you fro being able to personally manage your important affairs, there will be your chosen representative at hand to look after your interests on your behalf.
As well as providing you with an opportunity to make, or change, your Will whilst supporting Nottinghamshire Hospice, we also want to raise the general awareness of everyone, as to how valuable it is to remember your favourite charity or charities in your Will. Including a gift to Nottinghamshire Hospice in your Will could be the most valuable gift you ever give.
