The Nottinghamshire Hospice at Home service was developed to provide extra care and support to people in the latter stages of an advanced progressive illness, either by day or night.

The team consists of qualified Nurses and Auxiliaries who have specialist training and experience to help you care for your relative or loved one in the home situation.

What do the Hospice at Home Nurses do?

‘The nurses will provide physical care, eg. personal hygiene, wound care and gastrostomy feeding, as well as psychological and spiritual support to enhance patient comfort.

How do I arrange Hospice at Home care?

Please speak to your GP, District Nurse or Community Nurse Specialists, or via the Palliative Care Referrals Centre, if the patient is City based.
