Your opportunity to own a unique piece of art…
The Hoodwinked Robins are looking for their forever homes and will be auctioned off to raise money for Nottinghamshire Hospice on Thursday 18th October.
18 Oct 2018
St Mary's Church, 40 High Pavement, Nottingham, NG1 1HN
Hoodwinked, an exciting new Wild in Art public art sculpture trail, has transformed the great city of Nottingham into the playground of Robin Hood – local legend and master of disguise. From 7th July – 30th September scores of quirky Robin sculptures are creating an eye-catching trail through the city centre and neighbourhoods.
34 of the Hoodwinked sculptures will be auctioned at the end of the trail to raise funds for Nottinghamshire Hospice – an independent local charity serving people across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire who have been told that their illness cannot be cured, as well as supporting their families.
All Hospice services are provided free of charge, but with only a small proportion of funding coming from the NHS, the Hospice needs to raise over £7,000 each day to continue to be there for our local communities. The work of the hospice is made possible thanks to the generous support of businesses and individuals.
On Thursday 18th October you will have an opportunity to buy a unique piece of art when the robins go under the hammer with TV auctioneer Charles Hanson from BBC’s Bargain Hunt.
The auction will take place at St Mary’s Church, 40 High Pavement, Nottingham, NG1 1HN. Doors open 6.45 pm with drinks and canapes on arrival. Auction starts 7.30 pm.
