The sessions are open to anyone with an incurable illness, or their family or carers, and are free of charge.

Information

Falls are the number one reason older people are taken to the accident and emergency department in a hospital. Most falls don’t cause serious injury but they can leave you distressed. The good news is there are lots of things you can do to stay steady on your feet, which we’ll cover in this session.

About our learn more sessions

Each weekday from 4th June until 3rd August we’re holding short group sessions with hospice staff for you to come and find out a bit more on how you may be able to help yourself while at home. The sessions start at 11am, lasting about 40 minutes, and you are welcome to stay for lunch afterwards. Sessions provide a friendly environment to find out a bit more about living well and you can come to as many or as few sessions as you wish.
