Charity evening promises ‘Trick or Treat with a Twist’
There’s something for everyone at the ‘Trick or Treat with a Twist’ event at the Angels Twelve salon at 162 Porchester Road, Nottingham, on Thursday 1 November, with proceeds going to help patients at Nottinghamshire Hospice.
This is the second year running that the salon, which offers, hair, beauty and skin treatments, has put on a charity evening in aid of the Hospice. Last year they raised an impressive £1,400.
The event, which runs from 5pm to 7pm, includes a kids’ disco, face painting, sweet treats and cup cakes plus a glass of bubbly for the grown ups. Tickets are £5 available from the salon.
Jean Bertram, General Manager at Angels Twelve, said: “We chose Nottinghamshire Hospice because it’s a local charity and it touches so many lives. I looked after my mum and dad in Sheffield and it would have been amazing to have an organisation like the hospice to help.”
Anita Harris, Head of Fundraising at Nottinghamshire Hospice said: “We’re delighted that Angles Twelve have chosen to support us for a second year. This promises to be a fun event for all the family and it means a lot to our patients that local businesses and their customers are thinking of them.”
As well as proceeds from ticket sales, Angels Twelve is donating 10% of all its takings in the week before the event and 10% of any treatments booked on the night.
