Care at Christmas
All through the festive period our Hospice Night Support team will be on call ready to provide essential overnight care to people with life-limiting illnesses. Our team will ensure poorly people can continue to be cared for in their own home, surrounded by those who are important to them and preventing a crisis admission to hospital at Christmas time.
This Christmas, we need your help to ensure that more people with terminal illnesses are able to spend Christmas at home with their families and have time together for those cherished festive moments.
How can I help families to make lasting memories this Christmas?
Light up a Life is the time we come together each year to remember and celebrate our loved ones and the joy their lives have brought to us.
For every person, there may be a special memory we hold, a special reason why we want to remember them and celebrate the joy their lives brought to us. Join us this year for Light up a Life and dedicate a light on our trees in their memory.
We’re inviting businesses and communities to turn our historic cupola tower into a beacon of hope that will shine a light across the city every night in December to raise vital funds as the annual ‘Light Up a Night’ campaign returns.
You can light up the night by donating £350 – the cost of providing a nurse to care for a patient overnight in their own home.
