Experian support Nottinghamshire Hospice
A huge thank you goes to Experian staff who tackled jobs in our garden, and also stock Nottinghamshire Hospice are extremely grateful to the employees of Experian for using their volunteering leave to support the hospice. Twenty-eight Experian staff members volunteered over three days at the warehouse and within the gardens at the main hospice site. All volunteers participated enthusiastically and made a real difference in both the gardens and at the warehouse.
Rowena Naylor-Morrell, Chief Executive of Nottinghamshire Hospice, says;
“Thank you to the staff at Experian for choosing to help at Nottinghamshire Hospice. We can see a real difference in the gardens, which are used by patients at the hospice as we move into spring and summer. For many of our patients this will be their last experience of this time of year, and creating a beautiful space for them to enjoy is incredibly important to us. Our garden is entirely maintained by volunteers, and having the support of Experian employees has hugely improved this space for us and our patients.
Equally, the volunteers at our warehouse did a fantastic job of stocktaking, sorting donations and helping us to prepare stock for our new Wollaton store which is due to open at the end of March. Donations are sorted at the warehouse and sent to our community charity shops, which raise vital funds to support our patients through Day Therapy and Hospice at Home. It is a big operation and the support of Experian has been invaluable.”
