Wellbeing Programme – September and October 2019
Here you can find out what activities you’ll be able to take part in at our weekly wellbeing days every Friday.
Drop-in Cafe – every Friday 10am-2pm
Join us for free tea, coffee and cake whilst you have a relaxed chat with our care team and volunteers. You’ll get to have a look around the hospice and gardens and find out more about the ways we can help you.
Garden Club – every Friday from 10am-2pm
Come and enjoy some light gardening in our beautiful garden. Get to know other people and unwind before the weekend.
Tai Chi – 10:30am – 12 noon every Friday from 6th September to 20th September/ 1pm – 2pm from 27th September to 18th October
Tai Chi is a form of gentle exercise and stretching that also combines mindfulness. This can help reduce anxiety, improve balance and control and strengthen the body and help relaxation. This group is for any ability and you don’t have to have done it before, come and give it a go.
Art Therapy – 10.30am – 12noon from 27th September to 25th October
Meet others and enjoy creating at our craft workshops – no skill required!
Hospice User Group (HUG) – 10.30 – 12 noon second Friday of each month
Join our group of patients, carers and volunteers to help shape and advise hospice services.
