We can still make money to care for our patients even if we are unable to sell your goods in our shops.
Even if you have clothing that has buttons missing, or grass stains on children’s clothes, it doesn’t matter – we can still recycle it and generate funds!
All you have to do is bag it up separately from your other donations and label it ‘For Recycling’ and we will do the rest!
We understand that well-read books do get damaged or the youngsters in the family may get a bit enthusiastic colouring the wrong books. Don’t worry – we can still raise money from them through recycling!
We can recycle your items of scrap metal, so don’t throw away that odd candlestick or scratched tray, think of us and the income it can generate for the Hospice.
We recycle any silver or gold items even if they are broken, including jewellery.
We have collection points in all our stores for used ink cartridges, mobile phones and stamps which can all be recycled for cash.
If you have any questions about donating goods, or to arrange the donation of large quantities of goods, please call us on 0115 970 1427 or email us and we’ll get back to you as quickly as we can.
