Nottinghamshire Hospice leads the provision of compassionate, community palliative care for people across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire with a terminal or life‑limiting illness. Our values guide everything we do:

We’re looking for a Hospice Outreach Assistant, on a 12 month fixed term basis, to help bring the values, knowledge, and support of Nottinghamshire Hospice directly into communities across Nottinghamshire.

This 12‑month pilot role involves:

  • Attending a variety of community groups and events
  • Building respectful, trusting relationships with individuals and partner organisations
  • Raising awareness of hospice care and the services we provide
  • Representing the hospice with professionalism, empathy, and clarity
  • Contributing to reporting, data collection, and evaluation to support continuous improvement

If you enjoy working collaboratively, engaging with diverse communities, and helping hospice care reach those who need it most, we’d love to hear from you.

Travelling is a requirement of the job role and therefore it is essential to hold a Full UK Drivers’ licence, have access to a vehicle and to be able to provide evidence of ‘Business use’ motor insurance, purchased at the postholders’ expense.
