As a Trustee of our Board, we offer you a deeply rewarding role with the opportunity of personal fulfilment, professional development, purpose and connection through your vital contribution in shaping the future of our organisation. You will join an experienced and committed Board who provide governance, guidance and strategic direction — ensuring we achieve our mission to provide outstanding, free end‑of‑life care to everyone who needs it across Nottinghamshire.
1 day per month (approximately; to including meetings, events, and preparation time)

We are seeking committed Trustees with a variety of skills, insight and experience to support the sustainability and development of the hospice, safeguard its resources, and champion a culture grounded in our core values of Compassion, Trust and Ambition.
Additional qualities we value
- Strong leadership skills and experience participating in boards, committees or senior groups.
- A willingness to share your professional expertise for the benefit of the hospice.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge, support and contribute constructively.
- The ability to analyse complex information and make sound, timely decisions.
Experience in governance, health, social care or charity leadership is welcome — but not essential. We recruit based on values, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who share our vision, mission and values.
