Why a career in palliative care is so rewarding

A career in palliative care is one of the most rewarding things you could do. You’ll make a real difference at the most difficult time in someone’s life, providing compassionate care and support to them and their family. Many colleagues tell us they value:

  • Time to care for your patients.
  • Making a real difference for the patient and family.
  • Working in an environment where the patient is truly the centre of care.
  • The opportunity to work in the patient’s home and with other professionals.
  • Being part of a supportive and fun team where everyone is valued for their unique skills and experience.
