Nottinghamshire Hospice has been in the news recently! ITV Central News came to film in our Day Therapy Unit for a piece on palliative care provision and the ageing population.

Our Clinical Nurse Specialist Liz Morgan featured in the programme as did several patients and researcher Kristian Pollock from University of Nottingham.

The piece came about after a British Geriatrics Society report flagged up research which predicts that 25-47 % more people in England and Wales will require palliative care by 2040.
