Could you spare a few hours on a Thursday afternoon and make a difference to vulnerable people in your community? We’re delighted to be launching our CompassionART Group for people with an end-of-life diagnosis, carers, those who are bereaved, and people experiencing social isolation. As a volunteer, you’ll spend time listening and talking to our attendees while they enjoy gentle art activities. You’ll help by making drinks, setting up and tidying away activities and providing a warm and supportive atmosphere where people can create and connect. If you would like to give back to your community and become part of a compassionate team…we’d love to hear from you.
Our CompassionART sessions take place at The Pauleen Davies Centre, Radford. The group runs weekly during term time on a Thursday afternoon.
As a volunteer, you’ll help by:

You’ll need to be aged 18 or over. We’ll carry out a DBS check with no cost to you.
Nottinghamshire Hospice is fully committed to supporting and promoting equity, inclusion and belonging best practice within our staff and volunteer workforce, as well as with our patients and supporters. We particularly welcome applicants from minoritized ethnic communities, LGBTQ+ communities, applicants under the age of 40, applicants with disabilities, and male applicants for clinical roles, as they are currently under-represented within our workforce.
