Duke of Edinburgh Award: Volunteer Retail Assistant


Are you completing your Silver Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award and looking for a fun, meaningful way to fulfil your volunteering hours? We’re now offering DofE volunteering placements in our Mapperley and Sherwood Community Shops.
Please note these placements are open to people aged 16-18 who are doing their Silver DofE Award. If you’re over the age of 18 and would like to volunteer with us, click here.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be able to get involved in lots of different tasks, including:
- Sorting and pricing clothes, books and bric-a-brac
- Promoting and getting sign-ups for gift aid
- Creating stunning window displays
- Serving customers and using the till
- Restocking shelves
