This summer, Nottinghamshire Hospice is launching a new campaign – Go Purple – to celebrate all the weird and wonderful ways you can fundraise.
We’ve created a fantastic fundraising pack, full of tips, tricks and tools to plan your own purple-themed activity this July and help raise vital funds for local hospice care.
Here’s a sneak preview of what is in the Go Purple fundraising pack:
- A handy fundraising guide, full of ideas and inspiration
- A ready-made purple themed quiz
- Posters to advertise your event or activity
And more!
Wear it, Bake it, Think it, Make it
Hosting a Go Purple activity is your chance to get creative and have fun, whether you choose to:
👗 Wear it – Have a purple dress down day at your workplace or school
🎨 Make it – Create something amazing to sell or host a craft night – purple themed of course!
🧠 Think it – Use our free purple quiz to host a quiz night
🍰 Bake it – Host a purple-themed bake sale or afternoon tea
Becky from the fundraising team said, “I’m really looking forward to hearing about all the different things people are planning to do. It’s a great opportunity for people to get creative and raise money in a way that suits them. And we’re on hand with plenty of ideas and advice.”
How your efforts help
Every event, big or small, will help provide end of life care to patients and their families.
£300 raised can pay for one of our team to stay overnight at a patient’s home.
£120 raised can pay for a course of bereavement sessions for someone requiring support.
£30 raised can pay for one hour of home care for one of our patients.
