We’re thrilled to share that IT company ILUX have donated £3,000 to our annual winter fundraising campaign.

The money will light our iconic tower at Woodborough Road for 10 days over the festive period. This will represent each night a member of our staff has been able to spend in a patient’s home thanks to the donation.

Simon Page, CCO at ILUX said: “Since working with Nottinghamshire Hospice on their digital transformation, we’ve been wowed time and time again by everything the charity does for its local community. We’re proud to support the end-of-life care the hospice provides, and to play a part in celebrating its amazing, dedicated staff.”

Claire Herrick, Head of Fundraising here at Nottinghamshire Hospice, added: “Light up a Night is a wonderful way for companies to show their appreciation for our staff, who work tirelessly to support those dying in Nottinghamshire. We’re so grateful to ILUX for funding ten nights of our care – helping make sure people have the support they deserve at this difficult time of year.”

Light up a Life is our annual fundraising campaign that seeks to raise money for our vital end-of life care, with the people of Nottinghamshire donating in memory of a loved one.

Companies can contribute to this through Light up a Night, where they donate a minimum of £300 to light the tower for a night. This will pay for one of our team to stay overnight at a patient’s home.
