Ben Nevis Trek – 28th to 30th September

This exciting challenge will see us conquering Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland. We begin our adventure in the heart of the breath-taking Western Highlands of Scotland at Fort William.

Great Wall of China Trek

The China Great Wall Trek is a fantastic 5 day hike along this awesome man made structure. One of the best in charity treks, this challenge takes us over watch towers and mountains, through historic battlement stations that are well off the tourist trail – there are many sections during this charity challenge where we’ll feel the Great Wall is for us only, with no-one else in sight. You’ll also get to place a brick in the wall as part of the ongoing restoration. Rest assured, the Great Wall provides a fantastic backdrop to some fantastic trekking.

And if none of those take your fancy…choose your own adventure!

If you have your own challenge in mind, or would like a little help finding the perfect challenge, get in touch on 0115 910 1008 or fundraising@nottshospice.org and our fundraisers will be on hand to support you all the way. This is a great opportunity to get creative, think outside the box, and find a challenge that is perfect for you – it might be something as simple as giving up chocolate for a month or sacrificing your morning coffee for sponsorship!

How your challenge supports us

You won’t be just getting out of your comfort zone or getting fit and healthy – your training and hard work will support people in Nottinghamshire dealing with a life-limiting illness, so you really can change lives.

Every year we need to raise £2.7 million to provide end of life care across the county – that’s over £7,000 a day! Access to Day TherapyHospice at Home and Bereavement services for our patients and their families is free of charge and is only made possible through the generous support of the community through events like this.

Without our hospice heroes, we wouldn’t be able to be there for our patients and their families at the most difficult times of their lives.
