Counselling and Spiritual Support
Whether you’ve been diagnosed with a terminal or life-limiting illness or are caring for someone who has, we know it can feel isolating and overwhelming. You or your family may be experiencing all kinds of emotions, from anger to fear to disbelief. We’re here for you, no matter how you’re feeling.
Our counselling is person-centred and non-judgmental – it’s simply a safe space to be heard. There’s no right or wrong way to approach the end of life, and everyone deals with things differently. That’s why we have a range of support in our Nottingham Day Therapy centre, in your own home or another appropriate location according to what you need. We’re also able to offer one to one telephone support.
We have a team of volunteer chaplains who will work with your spiritual needs, whatever your faith or denomination, whether you have a religion or not. We want to meet the needs of all those in our community, so if you have specific needs, let us know and we will try to accommodate them wherever possible.
If you think that you or a friend or family member may benefit from counselling or spiritual support at Nottinghamshire Hospice, please call us on 0115 962 1222, email firstname.lastname@example.org or click here to fill in our online form.
GriefLine is a free, confidential service managed by Nottinghamshire Hospice.
