Notts removals company Mr Nice Removals has chosen to support Nottinghamshire Hospice as their Charity of the Year.

The company, a small family business based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, has pledged to donate 2-3% of profits from their contracts to help provide crucial care for patients with terminal illness across the county.

They will also spread the word about the hospice as they are out and about in the areas they cover.

Sabrina, who set up the company with her husband Sebastian ten years ago, said: “We wanted to support a charity or non-profit so we could give something back to our community. I’ve done care work myself and it’s a cause close to my heart so the hospice was a natural choice.

“As well as making regular donations we want to tell our customers about what you do.”

The family moved to the area from London where they set up the company. While there, Sebastian starred in Channel 4’s popular Shipping Wars show with TV cameras accompanying him on his rounds for six months.

Gemma Taylor Mahon, Fundraising Manager at Nottinghamshire Hospice, said: “We’re thrilled that Mr Nice have chosen to support us both by fundraising for us and raising awareness of our services. We’re very grateful for their support.”
